DIRECTIONS


PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

  • Take the #71 "Watertown Square" bus from Harvard Sq. and get off at Watertown Square.
  • When you get off the bus you will be within a few doors of my office entrance.
  • 22 Mt Auburn St has a large "Yoga" sign in the door window. Come upstairs and have a seat.

DRIVING FROM NORTH CAMBRIDGE, SOMERVILLE AREA

  • Take Mass Ave to Rindge Ave. Take Rindge Ave to Route 2.
  • Turn left onto Route 2 East and go to the Fresh Pond Mall Rotary
  • Turn right out of the rotary (by the Tin Alley Restaurant) on to Concord Ave.
  • Stay on Concord Ave till you get to the stone railroad trestle that goes into Belmont Center. (Just past the post office on the right). Do not go under the trestle.
  • Bear left instead onto Common St. and go to the end of Common St. (4th light from the trestle). Turn right onto Mt. Auburn St. (Rt 16). After you see a Dunkin Donuts on the left you will see a Municipal Parking sign on the right (also a street sign "Baptist Way"). (If you enter Watertown Sq. or go over the river you are too far.) Park in the municipal lot. Walk back to Mt Auburn St and turn right. 22 Mt Auburn St. is several doors down on the right and has a large "Yoga" sign in the door window. Come upstairs and have a seat.

FROM HARVARD SQUARE AREA

  • Take Mt. Auburn St (Rt 16). all the way to Watertown Sq (2 -3 miles).
  • Just before Watertown Sq. you will see a Dunkin Donuts on the left and then you will see a Municipal Parking sign on the right (also a street sign "Baptist Way"). (If you enter Watertown Sq. or go over the river you are too far.) Park in the municipal lot. Walk back to Mt Auburn St and turn right. 22 Mt Auburn St is several doors down on the right and has a large "Yoga" sign in the door window. Come upstairs and have a seat.

FROM ROUTE 128 AND ARLINGTON, LEXINGTON AREA

  • From Route 128 take Route 2 East toward Boston
  • Get off at the "Route 60, Belmont Center" exit
  • At the end of the exit ramp bear right onto Pleasant St toward Belmont Center
  • Go 2 lights and turn left on to Leonard St. This will take you through Belmont Center.
  • Go under the stone railroad trestle and bear right onto Common St. ( DO NOT take a sharp right)
  • Go to the end of Common St. (4th light from the trestle). Turn right onto Mt Auburn St. (Rt 16). FROM BELMONT

  • Take Common St. toward Watertown and go to the end of Common St. Turn right onto Mt. Auburn St. (Rt. 16). After you see a Dunkin Donuts on the left you will see a Municipal Parking sign on the right (also a street sign "Baptist Way"). (If you enter Watertown Sq. or go over the river you are too far.) FROM BRIGHTON AND ALLSTON AREA

  • Take Arsenal St. or N Beacon St toward Watertown.
  • At Watertown Sq. Turn right on to Mt. Auburn St. (Rt. 16).
  • Go 1/2 block and turn left into the Municipal Parking Lot ("Baptist Way"). (If you pass the Dunkin Donuts on the right you are too far.)
  • Park in the municipal lot.
  • Walk back to Mt. Auburn St and turn right. 22 Mt Auburn St. is several doors down on the right and has a large "Yoga" sign in the door window. Come upstairs and have a seat.

FROM STORROW DRIVE (SOLDIERS FIELD RD) OR MEMORIAL DRIVE AREA (Route 2)

  • Memorial Drive and Storrow Drive each run parallel to the Charles River - one on each side.
  • If on Storrow Drive, go west to the end (where it crosses the river),bear right and get on route 2 west and 3 North.
  • If on Memorial Drive go west to the end (where it curves away from the river),bear right and stay on (take signs for) Route 2 west
  • From either road you are now on Route 2 west which is called Fresh Pond Parkway.
  • Quickly get over into the left lanes and immediately look for signs for Watertown and get on Route 16 South - this will be a left fork exit off of route 2.
  • Shortly after taking this left fork you may see a confusing street sign saying "Cambridge Street" Ignore this sign. Go straight. You will be on Route 16 West/South. (Mt Auburn St). Shortly (a few blocks) you may see a sign for 16 South - ignore it. Go straight. Stay on Route 16 West Mt Auburn St. all the way to Watertown Sq. ( about 2.1 miles).
